Coronation Street fans were left confused last night (Monday, December 6) after Max Turner managed to text the whole school – but how did he get everyone’s number?
The terrible teen was sure he’d found proof of Summer Spellman and Daniel Osbourne‘s ‘relationship’ and after a few too many drinks, decided to expose them at the Ice Ball.
But given he’s several years younger than Summer and her classmates, why did he have all of their numbers in his phone?

What evidence did Max have of an affair between Daniel and Summer?
Max has been convinced the teacher and pupil have been having a secret relationship for months.
The teen has a huge crush on Summer and has been effectively stalking her, filming her at any given opportunity. However, he feels he’s caught on to her having an affair with Daniel.
Last night, Max was editing the video he had made about the Ice Ball when he spotted a moment between Summer and Daniel in the background.
In reality, Daniel was offered Summer a helping hand when she felt faint after skipping lunch.
Max then saw Daniel slip something in Summer’s bag – which viewers know was food to stabilise her blood sugars. However when Max later searched Summer’s bag, he found a love poem and assumed Daniel had written it for his pupil.
Coronation Street: How did Max expose Daniel and Summer?
Max turned up at the Ice Ball drunk. He accused Daniel of sleeping with Summer, but when Daniel told Summer what Max had said, she was fuming.
Summer confronted Max and called him pathetic, which sparked his anger even further. He then had a go at Daniel in front of everyone before punching him.
Max took to the stage to reveal why he’d done it and sent a text message with ‘proof’ to the entire class.

Those watching at home couldn’t really understand how Max, a good few years younger than those at the Ice Ball, had managed to get hold of all of their numbers!

It’s possible, of course, that they have a school intranet that he sent the message through.
Or that he sent notifications on a social media site. But the way everyone’s phone beeped, suggests he did in fact have all their numbers.
It’s just baffling how he managed to get them!

Are Daniel and Summer having an affair in Coronation Street?
Summer has had a crush on Daniel for months, but she’s been left repeatedly disappointed when her efforts to impress him have gone unnoticed.
She dressed herself up in similar clothes to Daisy, who Daniel does like, but Daniel didn’t bat an eyelid.
Summer’s schoolgirl crush is set to be exposed now Max has pulled this stunt.
And with the truth out, the humiliation becomes too much for her to bear. It causes her to start skipping more and more meals, and when Billy takes her to the Bistro for lunch, she panics when she eats a whole burger.
