Katie Price and her mum Amy have shared a heartbreaking update on the 66 year old’s terminal lung condition.
Amy, who suffers from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, was told she had three to four years to live in 2017.
And, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain today (February 10), Katie’s mum bravely admitted she is “in the last couple of years” of her life.

Speaking to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, Amy went into detail on her current condition.
She said: “I’m very up and down really, to be honest with you. Obviously it’s terminal and I should imagine I’m in the last couple of years now.
“What with COVID and everything, if I catch a cold or COVID there’s just no hope, so that would be the end of it for me.”
However, Amy is remaining positive she will receive a transplant.
She continued: “I’m pushing to see if I can get on the transplant list. Because there is no cure and there’s nothing else they can do for me really.
“With the transplant my age is against me, because the results are not that good as you get older.
I should imagine I’m in the last couple of years now.
“If you can go through all of that you would have a better quality of life and maybe another two or three years.”

Talk later turned to Katie’s romance with boyfriend Carl Woods.
It came after the former glamour model, 42, appeared to compliment Piers.
Piers, 55, replied: “Are you making a play for me live on air? Am I going to be husband 26?”

He then asked Amy: “How would you feel about me making a decent woman out of your daughter?”
As Amy shook her head, Katie quickly added: “I’ve found my perfect man now.”
Piers and Susanna erupted into laughter while Amy signed at her daughter’s remark.

Amy opened up on her health during an appearance on Loose Women in 2017.

Amy told the panel: “It’s like scarring of the lungs. It actually stops you breathing and it is progressive.
“It goes up the lungs – and in the end you won’t be able to breath.”
She has previously refused a lung transplant offer from Katie.
Meanwhile, last month, the reality star stunned fans on Instagram with a glamorous shot of her mum.
She also shared her sadness over being away from Amy, who is shielding from COVID-19.
