I’m A Celebrity fans don’t have a clue who most of the ‘stars’ are

Viewers are complaining they don't recognise any of this year's line-up

The line up for the new series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! has just been leaked, and fans are complaining they don’t have a clue who this year’s contenders are!

Taking to Twitter, quite a few bemused viewers argued that the celebrity line-up really isn’t that celebrity at all – and some even struggled to figure out what they’re known for.

One wrote that they only recognised a few: “That line up for #ImACeleb I only know a few of them #imacelebrity”

Another argued that as ITV had paid so much to get Caitlyn Jenner on the series, it couldn’t afford any other major stars.

The disgruntled viewer tweeted: “Disappointing line up for #imacelebrity Kate Garraway is the only one I know. And because they had to pay Caitlin Jenner £500,000, I guess that meant they couldn’t afford any well-known people. What a shame.”

Others continued to lament on their disappointment at this year’s campmates.

The biggest star of this year’s line-up does appear to be Caitlyn Jenner, who is a former Olympian and has starred on the hit reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

A parent to six children, the 70-year-old is currently in a relationship with Sophia Hutchins, 23.

It is fair to say, though, that at least a few of the campmates are British household names.

Kate Garraway is of course renowned for her television presenting and reporting, while Ian Wright is a highly successful footballer turned sports pundit.

Ian has been warned by his friend Harry Redknapp, who won last year’s series, over what to expect going into the infamous jungle.

Harry said that Ian will need to keep his temper under control and remember to remain calm.

Some even tweeted that they were disappointed Holly Willoughby wasn’t returning to host the series this year.

Last year, she stepped in to replace Ant McPartlin following his break away from the spotlight and the show’s ratings skyrocketed during her stint.

However, it has been confirmed that Ant will reprise his role for the dynamic duo that is Ant & Dec for this year’s installment of the popular ITV reality series.
