Or has Rose had the series win all sewn up since she and Giovanni blew away viewers with their ‘silent’ dance?
Strictly Come Dancing winners: Latest bookies’ odds
The bookies have priced Rose and Giovanni as being almost unbeatable at 1/5.
AJ and pro partner Kai Widdrington are second favourites to win at 7/1.
And John and dance partner Johannes Radebe (9/1) are reckoned to be third most likely to emerge victorious.
‘No chance for Rhys’
Rhys and Nancy have very lengthy odds of 80/1 to beat out the other competitors.
Have the bookies confused Rhys with Richard Madeley somehow?
To be in the semi-final and rated so lowly must be a blow for Rhys’ confidence.
Rose Ayling-Ellis remains the strong 1/5 favourite.
However, will he even make it to the final?
‘Odds-on for weeks now’
Meanwhile, a Betfair spokesperson indicated recent fluffs for AJ and John could have ended their chances of victory.
They said: “Rose Ayling-Ellis remains the strong 1/5 favourite to waltz her way to the Strictly crown this year as we reach the semi-final stage.
“She has been odds-on for the Glitterball trophy for weeks now.
“AJ Odudu and John Whaite are a way behind Rose at 7/1 and 9/1 respectively after both struggled with lifts on the dance floor.”
In addition, they said: “And despite wowing the judges at the weekend with his Argentine Tango, Rhys Stephenson is a long way off at 80/1.”
Strictly Come Dancing next airs on Saturday December 11 on BBC One at 7.05pm.
