Amy returned in March after her mum Kerry came to find her in Belfast, Ireland where she was on the run.

Kerry tried to persuade Amy to return to Emmerdale in order to get custody of her son Kyle. Although Amy wasn’t up for it at first, she soon changed her mind and came back to the village.

Recently Kyle was involved in an accident.

While Amy was talking to Nate, Kyle ran off from the park where he had been with his mum.

Kyle slipped into his dad Cain Dingle’s garage just before mechanic Dan Spencer left to go to a job and Amy realised her son had gone.

As Kyle began playing with a car, Nate saw him through the window as the garaged filled with smoke.

Luckily Nate managed to get him out in time and while the little boy was taken to hospital to be checked out, he was okay.

Recently, Natalie said she would like to do an Emmerdale and Coronation Street crossover episode.

Asked where in the world she would like to film an Emmerdale episode, she told Inside Soap magazine: “We were talking about this the other day.

“We were saying we’d love to do something for charity where we go on a trip and the bus breaks down, and we find ourselves in the Rovers Return. That would be fun.”

Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursday on ITV.
