Emmerdale fans have spotted a huge plot hole in Dawn’s social services story – her son is still being adopted.
The recovering drug addict is determined to get her son Lucas back since losing him when she was unfit to look after him.
But with social services making it clear months ago that they are going to have Lucas adopted into a loving family because Dawn still isn’t stable, she has considered all her options legal and otherwise.
At one point she considered kidnapping Lucas in order to be with him but was made to see sense by both Harriet Finch and Ryan Stocks.
She left him happily living with his foster carers while claiming to want to fight for custody legally – but that hasn’t been seen.

And now it has all changed but with a whopping fact blunder.
This week Dawn threw a strop, got drunk and left her secure home with Harriet because she had fallen back in love with Dawn’s dad Will.
Insisting she was going to get Lucas – who no longer recognises her – back by herself, she began sofa surfing and falling back into her old habits.
And fans have noticed a huge plot hole with Dawn not only not being able to offer Lucas a stable home – but also that the adoption is still going ahead.
One said on Digital Spy: “A couple of months ago she was told that the foster family wanted to adopt Lucas so she left a cuddly toy there and Ryan drove her but now she is trying to get custody again?”
A second said: “No social workers would consider pulling a child out of a happy home to give back to a druggie ex [sex worker] mother.”

A third said: “Surely, even in Soapland, Social Services would not consider giving a child to Dawn: as soon as she doesn’t get her own way, she sulks and resorts to drugs. No child deserves that.”
Another added: “Now Dawn is sofa surfing and has zero support stupid soap Social Services will be handing Lucas over to her for full time care.”
