Furthermore, the This Morning presenter, 58, is keen to avoid a “bitter and costly divorce battle”.

The Silver Fox stunned the showbiz world when he came out live on This Morning earlier in February.

And, as lockdown hit the nation, he happily stayed in the family.

Now, The Sun reports that Phil and Stephanie – his wife of 27 years – have “discussed divorce”.

Phillip and Stephanie have had discussions

A source told the newspaper that the couple – who share two grown-up daughters – have had “hard, painful” conversations over the last 10 months.

But the source also says that they remain “tight and devoted to one another”.

She has been so supportive, and he won’t skip off into the sunset now and abandon her.

It had also been reported that Phillip had moved out of the family home and into a London flat.

When questioned on social media, he refuted the claim.

“Where did you get that I’d moved out…. oh yeah the papers,” he replied to the question.

And now, it’s understood the Phillip does not want to go down the road of non-disclosure agreements.

Instead, the source says his “family is still his number one priority” and he wants an amicable split.

This reports comes after it was disclosed that Phillip’s personal fortune grew by £800,000 in a year.
