A make-up artist has revealed that a bridezilla sacked her for being gay.
The shocking incident happened when a woman, from Texas, revealed a series of texts that contained homophobic abuse in the lead-up to a wedding she was approached to work at.
The woman posted the full conversation onto Twitter.
The enquiry was fairly straightforward, with the bride-to-be asking the woman how much she charged for her services.
Then the conversation took a sinister turn when the unnamed woman asked her if she was gay.
After the question, the make-up artist asked: "I’m sorry, but what does that have to do with your wedding or my services?"
The reply shocked the woman and all of her 11,500 followers.
The bride replied: "Oh I don't want a gay person doing my wedding. I saw your FB and I couldn't tell if you were or weren't gay."
The woman's ordeal continued when the woman continued to ask her uncomfortable and homophobic questions.
I saw your FB and i couldn't tell if you we're or weren't gay.
"How can you be a Latina woman and be gay?" the bride-to-be asked. "You do know being gay is a sin correct?"
The woman posted on Twitter lambasting homophobia and ending with a positive message: "Please just be kind to everyone you meet."
Her followers were quick to share their horror and show their support.
"You’re BEAUTIFUL!! Keep shining keep standing up for yourself and your rights. We’re with you," one follower said.
Another said: "Omg! I’m so sorry you had to go through that! You are amazing."
Finally, one more follower offered the woman a job, adding: "I’m already married but you can 100% do my make up for the grocery store and I’ll double you’re rate if you can make me understand how to contour without looking like Skelator! People are gross and I’m really sorry!"
