Actress Catherine Tyldesley has shown off a glamorous new style ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing live shows.
The former Coronation Street star, 35, shared snaps of her sophisticated hair on social media as she prepares to take to the dancefloor on Saturday (21.09.19) for the hit BBC One dance competition.
In the first of three images posted to Instagram, Cath sits smiling for the camera after having her makeup done.
A second shows her brunette hair intricately pinned up, while in a third, the Eva Price actress stands side-on with her locks swept back and hanging loose.
When your #hair and #makeup team absolutely kill it!
She wrote in the caption: "When your #hair and #makeup team absolutely kill it! All hail @jrhairandbeauty and @emmyclarkson for @hellomag."
Her followers loved the new look, with one writing in the comments, "You look amazing" and another telling her, "You look so sensational and inspiring, like you always are".
A third said simply, "Fabulous hair" while someone else put, "Beautiful babe" alongside a kiss-face emoji.
The star was done up for an interview and photoshoot with Hello! magazine.
In her chat with the publication, Catherine reminisced about the first dance at her wedding with husband Tom Pitfield, whom she married in 2016.
She said: "There were no nerves back then, it was nothing like I'm feeling now. We hadn't choreographed anything and it was more Tom and I just shuffling along in a prolonged hug rather than a full-on dance routine."
Catherine said they enjoyed their first dance as a married couple to Thinking out Loud by Ed Sheeran.
She added: "[Tom] has already invited him round for dinner, so I think Johannes will become part of our family."
This year's Strictly Come Dancing started earlier this month (07.09.19) with a dazzling pre-recorded launch show that saw the celeb line-up paired with their pro partners, 2018 winner Stacey Dooley reunited with Kevin Clifton for a sizzling Paso Doble and Made In Chelsea's Jamie Laing forced to quit due to a bad foot injury.
The programme continued over the weekend with a Professionals special and returns, for the first of the live shows, this Saturday (21.09.19) at 7pm on BBC One.
