Strictly Come Dancing: Catherine Tyldesley almost vomited on pro partner Johannes Radebe

It's only day two!

Catherine Tyldesley has revealed she almost threw up all over her Strictly Come Dancing partner.

The actress, 35, who is among the celebs competing for the Glitterball trophy in series 17 of the hit BBC One dance competition, told fans she was nearly sick on pro dancer Johannes Radebe.

In a video shared on Instagram, the former Coronation Street star said: “So, day two. Johannes, do we want to talk about what’s happened?”

Laughing, the South African replied: “Look, it’s day two. What more could you ask for? I don’t expect much…”

Cath then revealed: “I wasn’t sick! I didn’t vomit on you… yet. I retched.”

Johannes, who joined Strictly in 2018, assured her: “She did. It’s fine, it’s okay.”

“It’s day two, nobody panic,” Cath said, adding: “I’m going to have more coffee.”

Earlier this week, the actress admitted she is already ‘in trouble’ with BBC producers – less than a week into the new series of Strictly.

The mum-of-one appeared on Lorraine on Tuesday (10.09.19) to chat about about training for Strictly and how she had found it so far.

Catherine said on the programme: “It’s joyous, that’s the word I keep using. But it’s so much harder than I thought.

“Because I’m a huge fan of the show, I’ve watched it and thought, ‘Oh I could do that’. But it’s so much harder… We’re already getting into trouble for laughing too much!”

And Cath’s husband of three years, Tom Pitfield, is reportedly being teased over the so-called Strictly ‘curse’.

She said the personal trainer’s pals have started joking she will leave him for one of the show’s pro dancers.

Speaking to The Sun, Catherine said: “He’s got a WhatsApp group with his mates, a lot of them rugby players, and there is a lot of banter.

“They’re all like, ‘Oh mate, you’re screwed, she’s gonna run off.’ But I’m just like ‘Whatevs’ because it’s not something I’m worried about. We are happily married. Tom has actually just been super supportive and really excited for me.”

Following the spectacular launch show at the weekend, Strictly continues on BBC One this Saturday (14.09.19) at 9pm with its Professionals special.
