I’m A Celebrity: Nadine Coyle ‘signs up for 2019 series’

The new series will return later this year

Nadine Coyle has reportedly signed up for the new series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

The 34-year-old singer – who previously starred in the pop group Girls Aloud – is set to spend the winter in the Australian jungle and is bound to be one of the biggest names on the show this year.

A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Nadine is a big name and ITV was keen to get her.”

During her time on the show, Nadine may lift the lid on her relationship with her former bandmates, including Cheryl.

The appearance could also help to relaunch her pop career, which has stalled in recent years.

The insider added: “It’s no secret there’s no love lost between them, and Nadine is refreshingly honest about what went on from her perspective. And I’m a Celebrity could well be the start of something big again for her.”

A rep for I’m A Celebrity previously said: “Names are just speculation until we announce our line up in the Autumn.”

Meanwhile, another of Nadine’s former bandmates, Kimberley Walsh, recently predicted the chart-topping group could reunite in “a couple of years”.

The singer doesn’t think the ‘Biology’ hitmakers will be getting back together anytime soon, but won’t rule out the possibility, particularly because she still regularly sees bandmates Cheryl and Nicola Roberts.

She said: “A reunion isn’t on the cards anytime soon.

“It doesn’t seem like the right time, really.

“For anyone else, a reunion and seeing us together might be like, ‘Yay!’ – but Cheryl, Nicola and I are really close and we’re together all the time anyway.

“But who knows in a couple of years? We’ll see.”

Meanwhile, those rumoured to be going into the jungle this year include broadcaster Richard Madeley and ex-Love Islander Olivia Atwood, as well as Corrie’s Alan Halsall.

Other names include Duncan James and Holby City’s Rosie Marcel.
