Storm Eunice is gripping the nation and took hold of GMB today, much to the dismay of viewers.
Rare red weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office covering much of southern and eastern England.
This means there’s a genuine risk of flying debris causing life-threatening injuries or even death.
Despite the stark warnings, Good Morning Britain viewers were having none of it today.
GMB viewers hit back at Storm Eunice coverage
The ITV daytime show was taking the storm very seriously, with much of the discussion centred around the weather.
As a result, viewers rushed to Twitter to hit back.

Many claimed that the ITV show was overreacting, with it seeming like they had never experienced a storm before.
One viewer wrote: “How embarrassing is this… barely even a mild gust and dusting of snow…”
“Come on now #gmb, this war room approach to a storm is absolutely pathetic,” said a second. “There’s a serious tone to be reached for sure, but acting like you are some kind of control centre is utterly embarrassing.”

A third viewer tweeted: “I don’t doubt that the weather forecasters have got this impending storm right but these live feeds from around the UK accompanied by overdramatic reporting are a bit embarrassing.
“There’s absolutely nothing to see at the moment other than a typical February morning.”

“Anyone would think we’ve never had a storm before. @GMB What an absolute shambles of programme!” ranted a fourth.
In addition, a fifth said: “This is getting daft already – big storm coming but do we really need this overly dramatic near-panicky blow by blow TV commentary?
“I’m battening down the hatches and switching off #GMB!”
