DOI’s James Jordan reveals ‘big bust-up’ with co-star Gemma Collins

He confronted her as he "felt she was in the wrong about something"

James Jordan has revealed he had a “big bust-up” with his Dancing On Ice co-star Gemma Collins.

The former Strictly Come Dancing pro, 40, said the argument began when he confronted her as he felt “she was in the wrong about something”.

James also said he believes Gemma, 37, gets “carried away” when she’s upset.

Speaking to Best magazine, James said: “Gemma and I had a big old bust-up the other day – I felt she was in the wrong about something.

“She said, ‘You know what? You’re right.’ And she apologised to everyone concerned.

“That takes humility. What can I say… she gets carried away when she’s upset. On another note, didn’t she look stunning at the NTAs?”

James isn’t the first person Gemma has clashed with on the show.

The former TOWIE star found herself rowing with judge Jason Gardiner as he criticised her performance.

He told her: “I know you were channelling Marilyn Monroe… There wasn’t any elegance like you were saying in the VT. She has to be elegant.

“She is a woman in control of her femininity. You were all over the place hun.”

Gemma hit back: “Can I just say one thing? Maybe if you didn’t sell stories on me, I wouldn’t have been so upset this week.

“So take that! Boring, boring! Don’t sell stories on me.”

However, Jason fought back too, telling the television personality: “This doesn’t help your cause. It shows you’re just a brat. Listen to what we’re saying.”

Jason later denied he “sold stories” about Gemma.

Meanwhile, during Sunday night’s show, poor Gemma fell face first onto the ice during her performance with her professional partner Matt Evers.

Gemma took a tumble towards the end of her routine and fought back tears as she awaited the judges’ scores.

It’s since been reported that the star believes she fell face-first onto the ice because she momentarily lost consciousness after her blood sugar levels dropped too low.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Gemma had been wired up to a heart monitor before she went on stage.

“She believes she blacked out while she was skating, which is what caused her to crash into the ice.

“She didn’t know what had happened when she got back up – her blood sugars were low and she didn’t feel right.”

Following the fall, Gemma resorted to using her mother Joan’s wheelchair to get around on Monday.

On Monday, Gemma admitted she was “absolutely devastated and embarrassed” by the incident.

Gemma is expected to learn later on Tuesday (29.01.19) whether she’ll be fit to skate this coming weekend and even if she isn’t, she’s determined not to quit the competition.
