Others loved the stunning look

Britain’s Got Talent viewers were divided over Amanda Holden’s stunning blue dress during last night’s semi-final.

The judge, 48, wore a one-shoulder dark blue dress by Jennifer Clair, which featured a split across the chest and a thigh split.

Amanda shared a snap of herself posing in the dress to Instagram last night, alongside the caption: “BGT LIVE Semi-Final round.

“After a certain act last night (and getting through 2 pairs of pants) I could do with a bit of laughter tonight please. Hope you enjoy.”

However, as the show started, viewers took to Twitter to voice their opinions on the outfit – with many people calling it “risky”.

One person said: “Amanda’s dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen! #bgt.”

Another wrote: “Not sure about Amanda’s dress tonight… risky,” while a third added: “Can someone tell Amanda Holden that she ain’t 20 years old anymore. She shouldn’t be wearing that dress.”

Another tweeted: “I thought BGT was supposed to be a family show? Fed up with your totally inappropriate dresses . Cover up for heavens sake.”

However, many people disagreed and couldn’t get enough of Amanda’s dress.

One person hit back: “Amanda’s dress is the dress of my dreams,” while another gushed: “Love Amanda’s dress.”

A third added: “I love your dress and hair tonight. You look beautiful (as always).”

It comes after Amanda apologised during Monday night’s semi-final after she dropped the f-bomb on air.

The judge was taking part in magic act The Haunting’s creepy performance when she appeared to say the f-word.

Apologising, she explained it had slipped out because she was so scared.

“I just really want to apologise if I said anything,” she said. “I said a really terrible word. I know there are kids watching, I know my kids are watching, so massive apologies. I can honestly say I feel terrified.”
