Emmerdale star Charley Webb makes plea for ‘kindness’ with latest pic of baby Ace

She has shard a new image of her little one

Charley Webb has been delighting fans of late by sharing pictures of the sons she shares with Emmerdale co-star husband Matthew Wolfenden.

And she has used her latest snap of youngest son, Ace, who arrived into the world in July, to call for something we should all be a little more thoughtful of: kindness.

In the image, uploaded to her Instagram account, the tot’s face can’t be seen, but he’s wearing a gorgeous outfit with the phrase: “Kindness is my superpower,” written on the top.

Charley captioned the snap: “If only everyone’s superpower was the same as Ace’s.”

As fans rushed to comment on the sentiment with many agreeing by using emojis and writing: “So true,” another said: “The best super power to have.”

“I think it’s sad we live in a world that needs reminding to be kind. It doesn’t come naturally to some people anymore,” added someone else.

Other users were just thrilled with the snap of Ace – and pointed out one thing in particular: his little feet!

“Awww his teeny tiny feet,” wrote one.

Another added: “Look at those cute baby feet,” followed by a heart-eyed emoji.

Charley’s sentiments about kindness are particuarly relevant given that she was subject to a cruel comment about her eyebrows in another Instagram post…

Charley, who is currently on maternity leave, posted a seemingly innocent picture of herself with her eldest son, Buster.

Peace and BBQ’s with the family✌🏽

She and the lad were off to a family get together and both making peace signs in the picture, which Charley captioned: “Peace and BBQ’s with the family.”

But one of the comments was anything but peaceful as they wrote: “Omg you need to sort them eyebrows out. Shocking.”

Charley’s fan immediately responded to the troll: “Get a life,” wrote one.

Another added: “Maybe she prefers to look after her family, including her newborn than worry about her brows, looks aren’t everything!”

“She was taking a selfie with her child, it doesn’t mean it has to be all picture perfect,” said a third.

It’s not the first time she’s been subject to trolling as just last week, the actress felt she had to defend her decision to let her two elder sons – Buster, nine, and Bowie, three, keep their hair long.

I get asked so many times on here why my kids have got long hair. ‘Why don’t you cut it?’ Or, ‘they look like girls’. The answer is really simple, because we like it and more importantly they like it. I absolutely don’t feel like I need to explain it to anyone who has an opinion but I just think life would be so much easier if we all just focused on our own lives. Don’t let my kids hair worry you. I think people think they have a right to have an opinion because of social media. Maybe you do. But try keeping it to yourself, it’s not important to us what you think of how our kids look. Or how we look. Or their names or whatever it is you might want to comment on. I was always taught, if you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Try practicing it peeps. There’s enough awful stuff in the world without being mean to each other. They’ve got another t shirt that says, I’m a boy, I’ve just got better hair than you. True dat.✌🏽

The actress posted a picture of Buster wearing a T-shirt saying: “Long hair don’t care #Boy.”

Charley added her own caption: “I get asked so many times on here why my kids have long hair,” she said, adding people say they look like girls.

“The answer is really simple,” she continued, “because we like it and, more importantly, they like it.”

She went on to say she “absolutely” doesn’t feel the need to explain herself, but that “life would be so much easier if we all focused on our own lives.”

She finished by saying: “There’s enough awful stuff in the world without being mean to each other.”
