Emmerdale fans have begged the soap to bring back Carly Hope to mend Marlon’s broken heart.
Viewers know that Marlon is currently devastated, after the breakdown of his marriage.

Despite only being married a few months, Jessie cheated on Marlon with her ex-husband Al and left the Dales for a new teaching job in Dubai.
Marlon has been left behind to pick up the pieces of his life, and reassure poor April who has lost another ‘mummy’.
And concerned Emmerdale viewers have thought of one person who could return and put a smile back on Marlon’s face – Carly.

Gemma Atkinson starred as Carly for two years before she quit to dazzle audiences with her foxtrots and paso-dobles on Strictly Come Dancing.
She left the ITV soap in June 2017, when Carly was reunited with her ex-boyfriend and father of her son, Matt.
In heart-breaking scenes, Bob’s daughter left to begin a new life with Irish Matt after her boyfriend Marlon persuaded her to walk away from their relationship.
But actress Gemma, who recently had her first child with boyfriend Gorka Márquez, has always said she would return…
And, as viewers have watched Marlon in bits, they think now is the time!

Gemma appeared on James Martin’s Saturday Morning show in March, where she told the host she’d love to return to the ITV soap.
She said: “I just left the village in a cab, as you do.
“Before I joined everyone said it’s like a real family, and it is.
“All my friends are still there. I would go back at some point, yes.”
