Rhona’s romantic woes continue with Graham in Emmerdale

It looks like it's over before it's even begun

Rhona Goskirk hasn’t had the luckiest ride when it comes to romance in Emmerdale, and that doesn’t look set to change any time soon.

As a spark continues to burn between her and Graham Foster, it doesn’t look like smooth running when Rhona makes a fool of herself and fears she’s put him off for good.

Fans first noticed there was chemistry between the vet and Kim Tate’s henchman back in July when Graham was carrying out Kim’s dirty work and Rhona caught him in the act.

As he was trying to discredit the vet’s practice on Kim’s orders, Rhona caught him and locked him in.

They had a heart to heart and Rhona urged Graham to break free from his master. Fans immediately predicted she and Graham would get together.

Speculation of a romance was further sparked when Rhona was revealed as Graham’s mystery chess partner.

It’s pretty clear there’s something between these two, but next week, Rhona manages to embarrass herself in front of her potential love interest.

She confides in best pal, Vanessa, who tries to reassure Rhona that she’s not made a fool of herself and she’s sure it’s all fine.

But will this mean an end to the Graham/Rhona romance before it’s even begun?

Graham’s currently embroiled in a plot twist that has seen him revealed as the potential father of Jamie and Andrea Tate’s daughter, Millie.

After Millie was rushed to hospital following an accident with Kim’s horses, Graham was shocked to learn her real date of birth.

A quick calculation saw him realise he and Andrea had a one-night stand exactly nine months before Millie was born – meaning he could be the father.

The horrified look on Andrea’s face when he confronted her pretty much confirmed his suspicions, but she’s adamant it was a drunken mistake and Jamie is Millie’s biological father.

Things are never that simple in Soapland – something tells us, Graham could just be Millie’s dad and Jamie’s in for a shock.

Meanwhile, Rhona has been quiet of late after making the decision to end her engagement to Pete Barton.

The couple’s relationship was in stormy waters ever since she had a hysterectomy meaning she couldn’t give him children of his own.

Although Pete insisted he loved her and didn’t need kids, it soon became apparent they were something he wanted in his future.

The pair ended things, and fans weren’t overly upset about it as they felt the couple were ill-suited anyway.

Is Graham a better match for Rhona? Could he be the man to put some sparkle back into her life?
