A moving moment

| Updated:

Yesterday in London, the great and the good gathered to pay their respects to all those who have died in conflict since World War I.

Present at the 2019 ceremony on Whitehall yesterday were politicians and Commonwealth dignitaries, as well as war veterans.

Also present was the Queen and her royal family and, during the minute’s silence, she seemed to wipe away a tear.
