Piers Morgan reveals new challenge after taking a break from GMB

Piers is taking time off from GMB after a petition called to get him sacked

TV host Piers Morgan has shown off his latest achievement on Instagram as he enjoys a sunny break away from Good Morning Britain after all the penguin drama.

The television presenter and former newspaper editor, 54, shared on Instagram that he had just completed his first hike.

And it was a hike at none other than the spectacularly showbiz Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles – which is an infamous spot for celebrities and influencers to workout and be seen.

Whereas several of his fans made reference to Piers as a penguin, after he said he identified as the bird back in September on Good Morning Britain.

Nearly killed me, but I manned up.

Piers is back in California enjoying quality time with his son Spencer at their family holiday home in Beverly Hills.

He made light of the penguin joke himself in another post earlier this week, which showed Spencer and a penguin ornament sitting poolside.

Piers captioned the picture: “Father-son bonding time” with a heart emoji.

His penguin remarks prompted a petition to be launched online to get him sacked off the popular ITV morning show.

However, Piers went to launch his own petition to keep him on and has taken the two weeks following the incident.
