What will Ant and Dec be doing?

The I’m A Celebrity, Britain’s Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway duo will appear on the show My Life As A Mixtape.

Their last BBC appearance was in 2011, when they did Comic Relief.

The BBC Radio 2 programme features stars who choose the songs that have spanned and shaped their lives.

A source told The Mirror: “We have nicknamed this show Ant and Decks.

“It is very exciting to get them to host and DJ for us after such a long time away from the BBC.

“Listeners will discover the very first time they sang together and which pop song they think should be listened to at least twice a year.”

As a result, Ant and Dec’s mixtape could include some of their own tunes.

What are Ant and Dec’s musical links?

The pair first met on the set of BBC kids’ show Byker Grove.

They then made music under the name of PJ & Duncan, and scored a Top 10 hit in 1993 with Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble.

In total, the young lads released two albums under the moniker in the 1990s.

However, after trying out the music business they switched back to television.

Could SMTV: Live be coming back?

The pair hooked up with Cat Deeley for the Saturday morning ITV kids’ show SMTV: Live in 1998.

Earlier this month, rumours suggested the trio will reunite for a one-off special.

The special will reportedly celebrate Ant and Dec’s 30 years in showbiz.

A TV insider told The Sun: “SMTV was such a huge part of Ant and Dec’s career, they knew they wanted to mark it in some way.

“The show will look back on some of the best moments and see old guests reminisce.”

Altogether, Ant, Dec and Cat presented the show for five years.
