In music to our biscuit-loving ears, McVitie’s has combined the two with the launch of an exciting new festive offering.
Yes, we know it’s around four months till the big day, but here at ED! we are loving all the festive food news.
Without further ado, let us introduce you to the new biccies.
What are the new Digestive flavours?
“This year we are bringing two new festive twists to the ever popular McVitie’s Milk Chocolate Digestive,” a McVitie’s rep revealed.
First up, the Christmas Pudding Digestive.
It features all the flavour goodness of the unbeatable original with the additional flavour of the nation’s favourite festive pud!
And there’s surely no more Christmassy flavour than gingerbread, which is probably why McVitie’s has harnessed a little of the festive spice into its other new launch, the Gingerbread Digestive.
Bringing Christmas cheer to the nation’s favourite, the two new flavours – Christmas Pudding and Gingerbread – are sure to amaze and delight the tastebuds.

“These festive Chocolate Digestives are perfect for dunking in your tea or leaving out for Rudolph and his friends.
“The perfect combination of digestive biscuit, milk chocolate and festive flavour mean that our new Digestive range is guaranteed to bring the magical spirit of the holiday season to your home.”
“Cannot wait to scoff them,” said one biscuit fan.
“Oh my god!” declared another.
“I need to try these!!” exclaimed a third.
“These look amazing!” another added.
Where and when can I buy them?
The biscuits will be launching in “late September”, a McVitie’s rep told ED!.
The packets of biscuits will have an RRP of £1.50.
And you’ll be able to buy them in supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons.
They’ll also be available in discount stores and convenience stores.
