Richard Madeley offends Good Morning Britain co-star with ANOTHER gaffe

Come again, Dickie?!

We’re used to Richard Madeley making a gaffe or three on television and this week he has made yet another one.

The stand-in Good Morning Britain host, 63, took co-host Sean Fletcher by surprise when he asked him if he was bald.

Richard made the comment after discussing Match Of The Day presenter, Gary Lineker, and his joke about baldness at the weekend.

Turning to Sean, Richard said: “Do you have very short hair because you are going bald?”

Looking offended, Sean, 45, replied: “No, I’m, no…that get’s me there [hitting himself in the chest] That hurts. Ouch!”

Richard then went onto explain his bizarre segue, referencing Gary Lineker’s joke and the subsequent furore.

He said that Gary’s bald joke was “just a gag between three guys on a football show”.

This week, Richard revealed that he had turned down Strictly Come Dancing.

Richard claimed the requirements of the jive would leave him looking especially daft on the dance floor – and so he has been reluctant to take part in the BBC One series.

The former This Morning star also suggested producers may find it harder to recruit male celebs during a discussion with ex Strictly pro Kristina Rihanoff about whether women are better dancers than men.

Reflecting on turning down a spot on the show, Richard said: “I wouldn’t do it because of the jive.

“I cannot conceivably come on in Spandex and do the flick kicks, I would look so stupid.”
