This Morning started chaotically on Tuesday (October 6) when Holly Willoughby was left aghast when she thought Alison Hammond had insulted her off-camera.
As the show began, Holly was forced to apologise to the show’s viewers as she couldn’t stop herself from giggling.
What did Alison Hammond say to Holly Willoughby?
“Good morning, talk about crossed wires!” said Holly.
“I was talking to Alison Hammond and she said ‘you look nice, very nice, like Miss Piggy’!”
“I went ‘Miss Piggy?’ and she said ‘No, Twiggy!'” laughed Holly.
“It was three seconds before going on air and she spat water across the room!”

Alison then jumped in, saying: “No like Twiggy! You look beautiful!”
“I look like Miss Piggy!” the lovable star then cackled.
It’s not the first time this week viewers have seen Holly looked shocked.

Why was Holly Willoughby in shock on This Morning?
The telly fave, 38, was left open-mouthed on Monday as an American man – known only as Joe Donor – revealed he jets around the world “inseminating” women.
Sperm donor “Joe” said he keeps a spreadsheet about his successes, most of which are by natural insemination.
But he also described the danger he sometimes faces, and recounted stories of being held at gunpoint.
“As you know in the United States everyone has a gun,” he said.

“Sometimes the partners come home and ‘oh my God, what’s going on here?’ and the guns come out and that’s when I try to leave.”
A stunned Holly said. “Oh my God, that is horrific.”
Joe boasted that he averages 10 pregnancies a year, and even in lockdown he’s been busy.
