Kelvin Fletcher and his Strictly Come Dancing dance partner, Oti Mabuse, are still basking in their win on Saturday night (14.12.19).
The ex-Emmerdale actor, 35, and Oti, 29, have now taken to social media to express their delight in winning the Glitterball trophy and thank fans for their support with emotional messages.
The couple beat out Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden and EastEnders actress Emma Barton and her partner, Anton Du Beke, in the spectacular grand final.
And Kelvin took to social media site Instagram to thank the woman who whipped him into shape.
“There are simply no words,” he captioned an image of he and Oti holding the trophy, followed by a red-hart emoji.
Oti also featured the same image on her Instagram feed, and paid an emotional tribute to Kelvin.
“This is been a dream come true,” she said.
Thank you, thank you, thank you @kelvin_fletcher for being an absolute rockstar.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you @kelvin_fletcher for being an absolute rockstar and making me the happiest girl on this planet.”
She also paid tribute to the fans who voted for them.
“Secondly to everyone at home who voted words cannot describe how grateful we both are and fully appreciate what it means to know you have the nation behind you,” she continued, as she then thanked her ‘Strictly family’ for an ‘incredible season’.
Kelvin also spoke about their win during an appearance on Heart Breakfast radio this morning.
He said: “It still feels quite surreal. I remember standing there Saturday night and just before they announced the winner I was thinking, ‘what am I doing here? This is just crazy.’
“It’s just been amazing. I think it will take a few days to sink in. I just feel so privileged to have been apart of the show in the first place and then to walk away with that famous Glitterball was just insane.”
