Strictly: Expert spots ‘signs of love’ between Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice

They've formed 'the best relationship of the series'

Strictly Come Dancing stars Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice have formed the “best relationship this series”, one expert has claimed.

Body language expert Judi James, working with Buzz Bingo, has declared there are “signs of love” between the two.

But before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, she admitted that it “isn’t the curse of Strictly variety”.

What did Judi say about Strictly stars Rose and Giovanni?

Judi revealed that she thinks their relationship is genuine.

“There are signs of love between these two but it’s not the ‘Curse of Strictly’ variety.

“Rose and Gio have formed the best relationship of the series and it’s possibly because of their lack of flirt signals rather than despite it.”

She added that Rose has brought out Gio’s softer side.

“Rose has brought out so many different aspects of Gio’s personality and I’d suggest there are some that even he didn’t know he had,” she said.

“Previously he only had one default setting on the show and that was smoldering, leaving a few of what looked like show-mances in his wake.

“Rose’s body language suggests she’s immune to his charms though and her constant teasing, mickey-taking and down-to-earth attitude has, along with her capacity for hard work, shown a softer and even more humble side of Giovanni.”

A ‘fascinating and authentic friendship’

However, as close as the couple are, they really are just good friends.

“Their hugging has increased, showing raised levels of trust between them.

“But when we look at Giovanni’s hands and especially his fingers, there is none of the kind of squeezing or lingering touches we might expect if this were anything more than a very fascinating and authentic friendship.”
