Joe Pasquale reveals body transformation after dropping nearly two stone

Comedian reckons he now looks like Tom Hardy

TV funnyman Joe Pasquale has shed two stone after changing his eating habits and hitting the gym hard.

The 58-year-old comedian told Loose Women viewers earlier today he was spurred into action to shape up for taking his clothes off as part of The All New Monty on ITV.

“It is [about[ not eating wine gums [and] not eating chips,” Joe explained matter-of-factly as he told the show’s panelists about how he’d achieved his leaner physique.

But Joe has also dedicated himself to working out – even though he admits he was motivated to be fitter because he would be getting his kit off on the box.

It is only an hour a day, I’m not spending all day there,” he noted about the time – six days a week – he is putting in at the gym.

Joe – who likens his new look to that of film star Tom Hardy – continued: “It was The Full Monty that did it. I thought if I’ve got to stand next to Ashley Banjo and have everything out I don’t want my belly to be the only thing people are looking at.”

“People think [the photo has] been photoshopped. It’s all me,” he added, proudly.

Joe also had the studio audience in stitches as he remembered how a tender moment between The All New Month co-stars following their charity performance turned into a huge naked pile on.

“At the very end [of the celebrity strip tease] we had 15 blokes come on with testicular or prostate cancer,” Joe recalled.

“There was 26 of us on the stage with nothing on. I had a cuddle with Ashley and said ‘don’t get too close’.

“Then everyone got in a scrum. I had 25 other willies banging on me!”

To uproarious laughter, Joe squealed: “I didn’t like it!”
