Denise Welch to return to Loose Women after father’s death

Things will be emotional when she returns

Denise Welch is making a return to Loose Women, two months after her last appearance on ITV’s daytime magazine show.

The star, 63, has taken time out since the death of her father.

But now the show has confirmed her return. So when is it?

What will Denise Welch return to Loose Women?

On today’s show (Friday November 12), the panel of Kaye Adams, Katie Piper, Penny Lancaster and Nadia Sawalha discussed all the latest topical news and talking points.

They also welcomed actor Martin Shaw in for a chat, too.

But it was at the end of the episode that host Kaye disclosed some good news.

Not only did she reveal that Christine McGuinness would be returning to show on Monday (Monday November 15), but Denise as well.

What will she be talking about on Loose Women?

Kaye told viewers: “And, after nearly two months away, Denise is going to be back.

“She’s going to be talking for the first time about the loss of her beloved dad, Vinny.”

Viewers heard Judi say “awwww” in the background.

There’s no doubt that Monday’s show (November 15) is set to be an emotional one.

How did Denise reveal the sad news about her dad?

Denise revealed that heartbreaking news on social media at the end of September.

In an emotional post she said: “The words I’ve dreaded saying all of my life.

“Last night at 11pm, we lost our dad, the life force that was Vin Welch.

“After making a miraculous recovery recently from major surgeries, pneumonia plus his existing pulmonary fibrosis was more than even he could take.

“He left us surrounded by his family who could not have loved anyone more.

“I can’t quite function as I’m so grief stricken, but I know he meant so much to so many people, even those who’d never met him.”
