Shortly after confirming her return, the actress confirmed she was back filming Emmerdale on set.
Lisa originally starred in the soap from 1995 till 2001.
In that time, her alter-ego Mandy married her cousin Butch Dingle but they soon ended up divorcing.
She then went onto marry vet Paddy Kirk but their relationship came to an end after she confessed she had been having an affair with her college lecturer.
Mandy left for London in 2000 but returned the following year to win Paddy back. However, he had moved on by that point.Mandy returned 18 years later in 2019 with her teenage son Vinny in tow.
At first she claimed the reason for her return was for cousin Marlon's wedding to Jessie but she soon revealed that she had returned because she found love letters between Paddy's mother and a wrestler Bear Wolf.
It soon came out that Bear was Paddy's biological dad.
Not long after their arrival, Paddy and Vinny left but as they got in the car, Vinny questioned why his mum didn't tell people the real reason she returned.
Mandy simply replied that it wasn't the right time before they drove off.
Why are Mandy and Vinny returning again? What does she have to tell villagers?
Emmerdale is on Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursday on ITV.
