Beloved matriarch Lisa Dingle has died and Emmerdale village will never be the same again.
In moving scenes last night (May 23), Lisa passed away just minutes after getting married to love-of-her-life Zak Dingle.

As fans dealt with the shocking blow of her tragic death, some became fearful for the fate of Lisa’s daughter Belle Dingle, who has a history of mental illness.
Although Belle and the family knew that Lisa was suffering from a terminal heart condition, her death came way too soon.
And viewers know that fragile Belle will take the tragic loss the hardest of all.

Tonight, Zak will have to tell the rest of his family that Lisa has gone and Belle will be distressed that she didn’t get to say a proper goodbye to her mum.
Viewers are right to be concerned about Belle’s state of mind… She has heard voices in her head since 2014 and, after suffering a breakdown and being sectioned in an institution, she relapsed last year when Lisa dramatically left the village to live in Scotland.
Can vulnerable Belle cope with the tragedy? Or will her mental health be shattered?
After Lisa tragically passed away on her sofa at home, fans shared their grief on social media, with many showing concern for young Belle.
One wrote: “Belle is going to suffer the most in Lisa’s passing. #Emmerdale.”
Another predicted: “This is gonna destroy Belle @Emmerdale @edenelenor #LisaDingle.”
A third added: “I’m not ready for Belle (and the rest of the Dingles) to find out tomorrow. That is going to be HEARTBREAKING. #Emmerdale.”

“Never saw that coming! OMG. Poor Belle,” lamented another, while one more said: “I’m really scared what this is going to do to them all but, most of all, her daughter Belle!
“She’s suffered enough already. Now losing her mum so young. #Emmerdale.”
We’ve seen Belle getting increasingly close to Kim Tate’s son Jamie, recently, so perhaps he will be the one to support her through her tragedy?
But, with fans convinced Jamie is hiding something, will he add to her heartache instead?
