EastEnders is reportedly planning a huge surprise to make a milestone in September.
The soap's 6000th episode will air next month and it has now been claimed the soap will celebrate the event with some of the biggest moments of the year so far.
An Instagram account promised: "This September on EastEnders: EastEnders will reach it’s 6000th episode in September, it’s been revealed that there is a huge couple of weeks in September, some of the biggest stuff we’ve had this year! Who’s excited? #eastenders."
It didn't take fans long to begin speculating about what the soap is planning.
And they think Whitney Carter's wedding to secretly gay Callum Highway will be front and centre.
One DS Forums user said: "There's Callum and Whitney's wedding to kick the first week off.
"That's 1-5 September sorted. Guessing the aftermath will be the remains of that big week."
A second said: "I thought it’d be Callum and Whitney’s wedding kicking off the Autumn and falling into the 6000th episode but the wedding seems a bit too soon to be the 6000th."
Another pointed out there were a couple of huge returns to come.
It’s been revealed that there is a huge couple of weeks in September.
They said: "This week Whitney said the wedding is in 4 weeks time.
"We know Patsy Palmer has filmed a guest stint for September so I think that must be to coincide with the wedding. Tamzin Outhwaite’s exit is coming up shortly too."
Another added: "They didn't get Patsy Palmer and Lucy Benjamin back to wash the dishes."
And with Tamzin's exit, others were reminded of the reports that son Hunter would be killed off in dramatic scenes.
One said: "Isn't it Hunter's murder?"
Whatever it is, it's clear there is a huge amount of excitement to come for the next couple of months.
