Prince Louis celebrates his fourth birthday today (April 23) and, to mark the occasion, his parents have released a series of new photos of the youngster.
The pictures were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge on the Norfolk sand dunes earlier this spring.
And, after he missed out on two recent royal engagements, royal fans were thrilled to catch a glimpse of Prince William and Kate’s youngest child.
Prince Louis birthday: New photos released
The pictures see Louis on the beach in Norfolk, a cheeky grin plastered across his face.
In one, he races towards the camera, two others show the prince holding a cricket ball and a fourth shows him grinning – gaps in his teeth visible – as he looks up at the sky.

In the pictures, Louis is wearing a grey star print jumper, blue checked shirt and teal shorts.
Royal fans were delighted to see the pictures, especially as he missed Prince Philip’s memorial and the Easter Sunday church service.
And, upon catching their first glimpse of the pictures, fans are convinced the tot is “definitely a Middleton”.

Royal fans react to new Prince Louis pictures
Fans were quick to take to the comments section when the photos were uploaded to Instagram.

And they all appeared to have the same thing to say about them – that Prince Louis is the image of his grandfather, Kate’s dad Michael Middleton.
“He looks like grandfather Middleton,” said one with the red love heart emoji.
“He’s amazing – definitely a Middleton,” said a second.
A third commented: “I’ve said he’s like Grandad Middleton since I first saw his little face. He’s grandad’s mini-me.”
“Always thought do too but now I see William or Harry in him too,” said another, adding: “Gorgeous boy.”
