Piers Morgan delights fans with photo of eldest son and daughter in LA

Piers is spending time with his family in Beverly Hills

TV presenter Piers Morgan is spending his two-week break from Good Morning Britain soaking up the sun in Beverly Hills.

The star shared a photo to Instagram on Wednesday of himself, his eldest son Spencer and daughter Elise enjoying lunch at Nobu in Malibu.

In the picture, Elise is seen sucking her thumb and Piers, 54, revealed she follows in his late grandmother’s footsteps by “wrecking every family photo by pulling silly faces”.

He wrote: “My late, great, highly rebellious grandmother Margot used to delight in wrecking every family photo by pulling silly faces.

“Elise, whose middle name is the same as her great-grandmother, now proudly carries the torch.”

He added: “Lovely spot for lunch though.”

Fans loved the family image, with one person gushing: “Great to have time with the family.”

Another wrote: “She’s gorgeous and such a funny character,” while a third said: “Lovely pics. You have great kids Piers.”

Piers later posted a snap of himself eating breakfast at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

He told fans: “Spent 6 years living in this fabulous hotel & the breakfasts (and incredible service) are still the best in LA.

“Love sitting outside at the foot of Rodeo Drive – as the sun comes up, and the city wakes up.”

At the weekend, Piers embarked on a hike with Spencer as they climbed the Runyon Canyon.

Alongside a photo of himself and Spencer looking rather sweaty, Piers wrote: “BREAKING: 1st known photo of my eldest son smiling in front of a camera.

Spencer recently revealed he had to “step up” and be his little sister Elise’s nanny after her’s was struck down with the flu.

Alongside a snap of himself carrying Elise on his shoulders in a swimming pool, Spencer said: “When your little sister’s nanny is struck down by flu… sometimes you’ve just gotta step up and save the day.”
