Controversial Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan has claimed that his breakfast TV co-host Susanna Read “harbours a deep unrequited love” for him.
The pair are known for their on-screen antics, where they bicker like brother and sister.
However, Piers reckons that, secretly, there’s more to Susanna’s feelings for him than meets the eye.
Speaking to Closer, he revealed: “My chemistry with Susanna is unbreakable.”
He added: “Everyone knows it’s because she harbours a deep unrequited love for me! I feel sorry for her in some ways, but she can’t help herself!”

Piers – a father of four – is married to journalist Celia Walden, while mum-of-three Susanna recently split from millionaire Crystal Palace FC boss Steve Parish.
However, Susanna has hit back at Piers’ claims, saying that, while she loves working with him, there’s nothing more to their friendship than that.
She told the publication: “Me, fancy Piers? In his dreams! I really enjoy working with Piers and we have so much fun. I never know what Piers is going to say next and he absolutely loves to wind me up!”

Sadly for Piers, it seems that he’s just not Susanna’s type on paper.
Opening up on Good Morning Britain, during a chat about the new series of Love Island, the brunette revealed that she likes men with tattoos.
“I like a tattoo. I love a sleeve,” she laughed.
Piers then recalled what’s on Susanna’s wish list when it comes to a partner.
He said: “She once told me her dream man was 6ft 2, ex military and covered in tattoos.”
