Viewers slam Mums Make Porn film comparing it to ‘herpes cream ad’

It wasn't deemed very sexy

The last episode of Mums Make Porn aired last night (April 3rd) and viewers blasted the “cringe” film they made, comparing it to a “herpes cream advert”.

The three-part Channel 4 series had a group of women team up to create a more teen-friendly adult movie after discovering the plethora of X-rated material easily available online.

In the final episode, the mums went about filming their porno, following weeks of research that left one of them vomiting and forced another to drop out because it clashed with her religious beliefs.

And despite the nature of the programme and the aims it established from the start, viewers were still hoping the mums’ finished product would be something special.

A number of people took to Twitter to slam their efforts.

One tweeted: “The last episode of #MumsMakePorn reminded me of sex education at school, minus the teacher leaving the room while we watched. LMAO! Anyway, what they made was vanilla ice cream, with no flake.”

Someone else wrote: “Oh my Christ. That final result is the cringiest thing I’ve ever seen. Major herpes cream advert vibes.”

A third said: “Sorry but that was about as sexy as a wet weekend in Blackpool.”

Another commented: “That was a rom com not a porno, I’m sorry. Who wants to watch people having a spoon after sex?”

A fifth viewer ranted: “See more porn on Countryfile. Cringeee.”

It followed scenes in last week’s episode that saw one of the mums drop out of the show.

When they were brainstorming ideas for their adult flick, it soon became clear that one among them, devout Christian Jane, hadn’t realised just how graphic it could get.

Jane was left shaken after watching some adult material and discussing raunchy plots for their film, so she went seeking spiritual guidance at her church and made the decision to call time on her part in the proceedings.

In earlier scenes, another one of the mums, Sarah-Louise, was seen gagging after a discussion about bodily fluids.

A porn star told the group that viewers always liked to see a “pop shot” but explained that filmmakers didn’t always use the real thing, telling them: “There are ways of cheating… you can do flour and water mixture. Or Gaviscon as well.”

After running off the set to be sick, Sarah-Louise admitted: “I think it might be the bodily fluids bit that’s knocked me.”
