Louise Redknapp jokes that ex Jamie spoils her day off because they work around his schedule

She's stretched with her busy workload

Singer Louise Redknapp has said that her day off isn’t a relaxing one thanks to ex-husband Jamie Redknapp!

Louise, who is currently starring in musical 9 to 5, revealed that her one day off from performing is filled up by taking their kids to rugby training because football pundit Jamie often works at the weekends.

Louise, who has sons Charley, 15, and Beau, 10, with the retired footballer, joked that she doesn’t get much downtime because she’s juggling eight shows a week at the Savoy Theatre in London with parenting duties.

When Chris asked her if she gets to go out on Saturday night, she replied: “We do go out, but Sunday morning is sport morning, I’m on the rugby pitch for four hours.

“Jamie works a lot on the weekend because he’s at the football.”

She added jovially: “My older one doesn’t even appreciate it he’s like, ‘Why are you here?'”
