Louise Redknapp has revealed what her relationship is like with ex-husband Jamie for the first time since their divorce.
The 44-year-old opened up in an interview on Heart Radio today (7 February), she has never spoken about how things are between them before now.
Louise admitted that it’s been a “really tough” time since they split, but she insists that Jamie, 45, is still her “best friend”.
Louise told radio hosts Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin: “It’s been really tough.
“But I mean, you know, he’s my best friend. It’s been really tough but things happen.”
She added that they still regularly see each other as they have to attend things together, like their children’s school meetings.
She continued: “I saw him yesterday and it was all good. We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good.”
Heart Radio presenter Jamie, who is a pal of Louise and her ex hubby, also admitted that he feels a bit awkward about their situation now.
He said: “I feel a bit awkward,” adding: “My loyalties are split!”

Eternal star Louise and retired footballer Jamie separated in 2017, following months of rumours that their marriage was under strain.
Talk that they were on the rocks started in 2016, when they began spending more time apart because Louise was starring on Strictly Come Dancing.

Jamie and Louise were married for 19 years and have two sons, Charlie, 14, and 10-year-old Beau.
Since their separation Louise has remained single, but she has been linked to her former Strictly dance partner Kevin Clifton, who she remains good friends with.
Meanwhile, it was rumoured that Jamie was seeing model Julia Restoin Roitfeld last year.
