The Duchess of Cambridge has shared her first ever Instagram post.

Kate, 37, took to the social media site at the weekend to share photos from her and husband Prince William‘s recent tour in Pakistan.

The first photo shows William holding hands with two local boys while others show the couple meeting the community at the SOS Village, which provides a home and family structure to over 150 young girls and boys in Lahore.

One image also showed Kate laughing as she played a game of cricket.

Kate captioned the pictures: “The community at the SOS Village is built around family – and the best possible family you could imagine – where everyone comes together to nurture, love and protect the children in their care.

Thank you for posting this! Loving Catherine’s post.

“These vulnerable children, many who have come through traumatic circumstances, are nurtured in this caring environment and are able to form these quality relationships that they so desperately need to thrive. — Catherine.”

Royal fans were delighted to see Kate sharing her first post on the Kensington Palace account.

A third added: “Thank you for posting this! Loving Catherine’s post.”

Kate and William’s tour ended on Friday (October 18) and it appeared a huge success among royal fans.

During their trip, they also visited the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital as they spent time with patients undergoing treatment and spoke with their families.

Meanwhile, fans were left speculating whether the Duchess is pregnant with her fourth baby after William reportedly made an unusual request before their trip.

According to Hello!, they made the decision to have a doctor with them on the trip.

Although it is typical for senior members of the royal family to travel alongside a large entourage during official duties abroad, this time they had their doctor with them – prompting speculation that Kate is expecting.

The couple are already parents to Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one.
