Jack Fincham finally reveals real reason for Dani Dyer split

He feels they rushed things after Love Island win

Former Love Island contestant Jack Fincham has revealed he ‘doesn’t know’ whether he was in love with TV girlfriend Dani Dyer.

The 28-year-old matched up with the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny during the 2018 series of the ITV2 summer show – and they soon moved in together once it had ended.

Jack has kept shtum over the reasons behind their split earlier this year. But the ex stationery salesman has now admitted he feels the telly couple “rushed” their relationship and wonders whether it was the real thing with media personality Dani.

Opening up to dating experts on last night’s episodes of Celebs Go Dating about whether he has ever been in love, Jack responded: “I don’t know now.”

With a little encouragement, he continued: “I had three serious girlfriends, long-term. You know, being with them, I’ve said ‘I love you’ to all of them.

“[But] did I? I really don’t know.”

Asked about the circumstances of his pairing up with Dani, Jack suggested their relationship back in the UK moved too fast after starting out in front of reality TV cameras.

“If we had lived in Love Island forever, we’d have been fine,” he claimed.

Jack admitted: “We rushed it straight away, I let her rush me a bit. We moved straight in together. I wish we had waited.”

It is believed Dani began dating her one-time ex Sammy Kimmence again just weeks after she and Jack called time on their relationship in April.

But Jack insists he is happy to see her move on and be happy with someone else.

He added: “I’m not a bitter person. I am 100 per cent over Dani and now I want to go and meet someone.

“I’ve missed out on so much dating. I haven’t done it on over a year.”
