Pregnant Gemma Atkinson has shared her latest fears about giving birth with her followers on Instagram.
The former Hollyoaks actress, 34, is expecting her first child with Strictly pro Gorka Marquez this summer.
And she joked on her Instagram stories that she’s now terrified after flicking through some books about giving birth.
She wrote: “Baby books are fine until you read the part where you ‘may tear from your vagina to your bum.'”

The text was followed by a series of concerned emojis and a funny GIF.
In a follow up story she prods her beloved dog Holly and jokes: “Holly man! I might tear! Are you not bothered?”

Gemma and Gorka have been sharing with their social media followers regular updates on their pregnancy journey.
Just last week Gemma encouraged expecting mums to not put too much pressure on themselves as she shared a picture of herself tucking into a giant pizza.
She wrote that “the last thing I want is for any woman to not feel like they are doing ok” and that after working a 16-hour day she’d ordered a takeaway pizza to enjoy all by herself.
And she’s certainly not afraid to poke fun at her blossoming baby bump.
On Friday she posted a pic of her expanding profile and joked that she looked like an ‘Easter egg.’
She captioned the mirror selfie with: “Who ate all the eggs?! First year where I actually look like an Easter Egg. And I bloody love it!”
