Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand are adjusting to life as newlyweds after tying the knot in a romantic ceremony in Turkey.
The couple got engaged in November last year after former footballer Rio popped the question on one knee on top of the iconic Nation Towers complex in Abu Dhabi.
Kate and Rio said ‘I do’ at the D Marie Bay Hotel in the Turkish coastal town of Marmaris on Friday, with the Mayor of Marmaris, Mehmet Oktay, officiating the ceremony.

Now, the first stunning picture from their big day has been revealed in a photoshoot for OK! Magazine.
Kate looked beautiful in a corseted ivory gown with a fishtail skirt and a sweetheart neckline.
Meanwhile, Rio looked dapper in a black three-piece suit.
Speaking to the publication, former footballer Rio revealed he broke down in tears when he saw Kate and his three children walk down the aisle.
He said: “I cried as soon as the day started. Seeing Tia walk up the aisle before Kate set me off. It was just so emotional.
“There was just no going back on the emotion, that’s why I had to keep my shades on! Seeing Tate and Lorenz walk Kate down the aisle was particularly poignant and we wouldn’t have wanted to do it any other way.
“They were so proud and they couldn’t wait to do that, they felt important.”

It comes after Kate’s mum Jacqueline gushed over the “beautiful occasion” in an interview with MailOnline.
She said: “It was a beautiful occasion. We’ve had a wonderful three days.
“The ceremony was on Friday. I’ll never forget it, it was one of the best days in my life. I’m really happy for them both and wish them a wonderful life together.”
The happy mum also told how there were 180 guests and the party was across three days, adding: “We took the whole hotel over and it was quite a party.”

Kate and Rio were introduced by mutual friends at the start of 2017, two years after Rio’s wife Rebecca, the mother of his children, tragically passed away from breast cancer.
Kate then stepped away from the limelight in order to focus on being a stepmum to Rio’s kids.
