It’s approaching holiday season, and millions of people up and down the country will be heading to the beach and donning their best bikini or swimsuit.

But Ex-Corrie star, Catherine Tyldesley, has spoken about her own beach-body image issues.

In a revealing interview with Metro, Catherine, 35, said that some days she “doesn’t feel great in a swimsuit”.

The stunning mum-of-four – who played Eva Price in the ITV soap – revealed that even she has off days when it comes to her body.

“I have days where I don’t feel great in a swimsuit,” she said.

“But I’ll go to the edge of the pool, drop my towel or sarong at the last minute, I’ll get in and once I’m in, I feel great.”

“I’ve got wobbly bits, I’ve got stretch marks. I’m getting in [the pool] with my son and having such a laugh. We’re getting fit at the same time, we’re building up our confidence, and just having the best time,” she continued.

Catherine was keen to spread a body-positive message with fans.

“It’s about realising that, when you walk up to your local leisure centre or swim at beach, everybody is normal,” she said.

“All wonderful shapes and sizes, everybody looks different. Everyone’s just having fun. And that’s what it’s about.”

“We’ve all got our body hang-ups, but what we have to remember is that nobody looks like an airbrushed Instagram picture around the swimming pool,’ she told us. ‘[We’re] all shapes and sizes, we’re all human.”
