Hayley Tamaddon has announced she’s expecting her first child.
The 42-year-old actress, who is best known for her roles as Delilah Dingle in Emmerdale and Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street, shared a picture of herself cradling her growing baby bump as she beamed at the camera.
Writing alongside the picture, she shared: “Exciting news tweet! I’m so pleased to tell you all… I’m expecting my first child with my wonderful boyfriend Adrian!!”

Hayley said she was told she couldn’t have children so is thrilled to be expecting.
She added: “I’ve always wanted to be a mum and didn’t think I could have children. And now, at the ripe old age of 42 – I’M PREGNANT. We couldn’t be happier.”
The actress was soon inundated with congratulatory messages from her fellow soap stars.
Georgia Taylor replied: “Oh darling congratulations! You’ll make such a lovely mum.”
Corrie star Patti Claire sent her six excited emojis and simply wrote: “Baby!!!!!!!”
Gina Lyons added: “Darling!! Huge congrats! You’ll make a great mum. Enjoy the ride it’s the best!”
Many of her fans congratulated Hayley, with one person commenting: “Such lovely news, congratulations!”
Another said: “I couldn’t be happier reading this news. Many, many congratulations!” while a third added: “Wonderful news!”
After keeping her current relationship well out of the spotlight, the happy news appeared to come as a huge surprise.
The actress is currently starring in the West End production of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
