Emily Andre has been honest about finding parenting “hard work” as she raises her two young children with husband Peter Andre.
The 29-year-old doctor has Amelia, four, and two-year-old Theo with Pete, who is currently working away in Los Angeles.
Emily spoke out to empathise with Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine McGuinness, who recently admitted she feels like a “single parent” when her hubby Paddy is busy working for long periods of time.
In her OK! magazine column, Emily said of Christine: “She said: ‘I would be lying if I said it’s great. It’s not, it’s really tough. At the moment I barely see him. It is getting to the point now where I feel it is overwhelming and too much. I feel like a single parent at times.’
“The pair share five year old twins Penelope and Leo, who both have autism, and a two year old daughter Felicity. I find two small children hard work at times, let alone three.”
Emily, who married Mysterious Girl singer Pete in 2015, also admitted she has found motherhood “tough” because she was young when they had their first child Amelia.
“I think I found it tough because I was quite young, and like a lot of new mums I wasn’t that confident,” she continued, adding: “If I went out and she was crying I would feel embarrassed, even though no-one was judging me.”
Emily’s honesty about parenting comes as 46-year-old Pete works abroad.
He has been promoting his new movie, The Inheritance, and has had meetings with fashion label boohoo.

Pete’s also been busy forging his acting career recently. He’s been nominated for an award for his role in his upcoming film, in which he plays a drug addict.
