Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank could be the next royals to confirm they have a baby on the way.
Bookies have slashed odds from 5/1 to 1/4 on them being the first to announce a pregnancy after Meghan Markle gives birth, following their wedding in October last year.
It follows an Instagram post, shared earlier this year, that Eugenie’s fans interpreted as a clue pointing to forthcoming baby plans.

The princess uploaded a snap of herself and Jack looking happy together, with her husband holding her hand, and captioned it: #[Throwback Thursday] to exactly this day last year – Jack and I announced our engagement. What a year it’s been since then and how exciting for 2019.”
One follower commented: “I hope this exciting 2019 means a baby is on the way!”
Another said: “I believe the Princess and Jack would make wonderful parents if its true. I know two people that will be over the moon to be grandparents, I’m sure Jack’s family as well. Many blessings to the both of you.”
A third wrote: “Bun in the oven. She said how exciting for 2019…
Someone else said: “I do hope, like millions of others, that there is baby news. Your wedding was so beautiful. Congratulations to the both if you.”
A fifth commented: “You’re going to make a beautiful baby.”
Speaking to The Sun, a Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “It looks like the royals are getting broody. With Meghan’s first on the way and Kate’s odds of baby number four continuing to tumble, we’ve once again cut odds on Eugenie announcing a pregnancy.”
Another, for bookmakers.tv, told the paper: “The odds of Eugenie and Jack sharing some good news soon have taken another plunge with the latest betting definitely suggesting there could be an announcement around the corner.
“And as always, royal watchers would love to see another royal baby, with some punters even suggesting the Queen may have three new grandchildren during 2019.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s little one is expected any time now, although they never confirmed the exact due date.
