Poundland launches ‘amazing’ debut homeware range and the most expensive thing is a tenner!

We'll take one of everything, please!

Poundland has launched an “amazing” debut homeware range and it’s not only a bargain, it’s gorgeous too.

Hues of rich green and blue pair with decadent gold to add a touch of luxury to your living room.

Meanwhile, in the bathroom, cool slate grey accessories add a classy minimal touch.

It certainly doesn’t look like a Poundland range, but fans will be pleased to know the prices are most definitely pocket-friendly.

How much do things cost?

As the store’s name suggests, some items start at just £1.

The most expensive item in the debut Pep & Co homeware range costs £10.

Pep & Co Home will roll out at more than 800 Poundland stores tomorrow (Thursday, August 20).

And many will find the range stocked inside Poundland’s swanky new shop-in-shops.

“All of Poundland’s 800-plus stores will be putting its all-new contemporary Pep & Co Home brand on display this week, with over 120 of its larger locations also getting brand-new displays to show off the revamped range,” said a rep.

What can I actually buy?

Well, there are many pieces that Poundland states wouldn’t look “out of place” in a “Swedish home furnishings store or a Danish boutique”.

And, looking at the pictures, we have to agree.

The items will put the finishing touches to any home.

Shoppers will be able to from a selection of stylish photo frames, ornaments, vases, plant pots, faux plants and flowers and candle holders.

Cushions, bath towels and stylish throws are also set to go on sale.

To give you an idea of prices, photo frames retail at £2, storage baskets cost £2 and £5, bath towels are £4 and a gorgeous crushed velvet cushion with fringing costs £5.

However, savvy shoppers in London will have actually spotted the range on sale in a store called Lündon Pad last week.

Customers are going to love the range, especially when they realise the value compared to other retailers.

An anagram of Poundland, the range was secretly put on display in a Baker Street pop-up store, and shoppers were shocked to discover who actually made the stylish range.

“Is it really Poundland?

“You’re joking – no, no way! That’s amazing, is it really Poundland?” said one fan of the range.

“Oh wow,” another window shopper said.

Poundland’s Tim Bettley said: “We’ve been working overtime on the introduction of Pep & Co Home to Poundland and we can’t wait to launch this week.

“Pep & Co Home is a contemporary range, offering both quality and amazing value – from everyday items to the ornaments that bring the finishing touch to any room.

“And we know from our secret tests, customers are going to love the range, especially when they realise the value compared to other retailers.”
