Dancing On Ice star Trisha Goddard hits back at reports she’s ‘homeless’

Caprice offered her a place to stay, though!

Trisha Goddard has hit back at claims that she is “homeless”, as training for the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice gets underway.

Posting to Instagram, Trisha – who relocated to the States in 2010 – revealed that there had been a mix up with the accommodation she booked while she’s in the UK rehearsing for the show.

She said: “Apologies!!! This post should be about being excited to meet my @dancingonice #iceskating pro later today, but….. Ugh! My back! Agony!”

Apologies!!! This post should be about being excited to meet my @dancingonice #iceskating pro later today, but….. Ugh! My back! Agony! Not much sleep for 2nd night after my flight from #nyc Result? I’m feeling really low to think of the dramas I’ve been through to finally find (*last-minute!) accommodation and end up with a bed with a mattress-from-hell for the next freakin’ six weeks training here in the UK ! *Watch out! You can book and pay for accommodation on a website, only to discover that the place advertised as being available for the dates you need, actually isn’t! Cue nightmare scenarios of wrangling refunds, and trying to find somewhere else, without repeating the cycle…😡)

However, one newspaper reported that the incident had left Trisha “homeless”, which the chat show queen said isn’t the case.

Fans told Trisha: “Oh darling, you’ve got to laugh.”

Another said: “Glad you’re not homeless!”

Her kind-hearted Dancing On Ice co-star Caprice Bourret had previously stepped in to offer assistance – and a place to stay.

She said: “Omg babes, you can stay with me – let’s talk when I see you later!”

The report came after the news that we will see the celebrities dance with their professional partners in the Dancing On Ice At Christmas special, which airs this December.

It’s set to feature the 12 new celebrities as well as DOI alumni, with Gemma Collins revealing she has been asked to take part.
