David Walliams has dished the dirt on his boss Simon Cowell.
The Britain's Got Talent judge confessed all when he appeared on Chris Evans' Virgin Radio breakfast show this morning (Friday July 19).
David revealed that he copped boos from an angry 300-strong crowd when Simon was five-hours late for filming an episode of BGT.
"The worst part is waiting for Simon Cowell to arrive. That’s the drag," he told Chris.
He likes to arrive about four or five hours late, and I’m someone who is punctual and on time.
"He likes to arrive about four or five hours late, and I’m someone who is punctual and on time.
"So I’m ready to go. And then when he arrives he’s in no rush to start. He lights up a cigarette, starts chatting to people."
David continued the story by saying: "The audience are then in a sort of bad mood because they’ve been waiting for like eight hours for it to start.
"And then he gets up in front of the audience and says ‘sorry we’re starting late’.
"He says ‘the reason we’re late is because David was having a three-course meal, and he said ‘I’m sorry, the people of Manchester can wait.’"
"And we start the show with 300 people booing me."The Sun reports that Britain's Got Talent: The Champions begins filming next week (Monday July 22).
Past winners Susan Boyle and Stavros Flatley are said to be appearing, alongside winners from previous series.
