Viewers were left scratching their heads this morning when Piers Morgan and weatherman Alex Beresford appeared to clash on today’s Good Morning Britain.
Their showdown came after the official Good Morning Britain Twitter account shared a clip of Alex walking off set.

In it, the tweet said: “It’s only 6.30 and Alex has already had enough already,” followed by a cry-laughing emoji.
While this spat seems like it’s being played out in good fun, viewers were left wondering if there was more to it.
The pair was seen “rowing” months ago.

An hour after Alex’s ‘walk out’ he and Piers seemed to clash again.
Piers read out a tweet from a viewers saying: “Surprised you put Piers Morgan and Alex Beresford in the same room together, it’s obvious they don’t get on. And not particularly pleasant to watch.”
Susannah replied: “Imagine being in the same room as them! It just gets colder and colder.”

After calling him a “drama queen”, Piers asked what the weather was going to be like at the England v Australia cricket match at Lord’s tomorrow (Tuesday).
“I don’t work for you,” said Alex. “Wherever you go, there’s a massive thundercloud.”
One viewer tweeted: “What the heck is going on between Alex and Piers?!?! What have I missed?”
Another wrote: “Pretty pathetic watching Piers Morgan carry on like that towards Alex. #GMB.”
