Steph Britton returns to Coronation Street next week for her brother’s funeral – but while she’s back, she’s got a few things she wants to say to Phelan. Little does she know, she’s confronting the man who killed her brother…
Phelan’s not a man who is usually easily spooked, but he certainly clashes with Steph when she arrives back in Weatherfield with a few things to get off her chest.
Before she left the country last year, Steph had cottoned on to the idea that Phelan wasn’t a man to be messed with when he blackmailed her boyfriend Andy Carver into burning down the garage.

But what she doesn’t realise is that while she was over in Portugal, Phelan was busy putting his evil plans into motion, which eventually saw poor Andy dead in an abandoned mill.
But while Steph might have no idea the horrifying things that Phelan has subjected Luke and Andy to, she still doesn’t like the man – and she certainly lets him know when they have a face-to-face confrontation in the street.
Steph’s fuming when she sees Phelan at Luke’s funeral (he’s got some cheek, that man) – but she’s just cross, thinking he’s there to wind her up.
Little does she know he is actually attending the funeral of a man who is dead because of him.
But oblivious to exactly what Phelan is capable of, is Steph just lining herself up to become his next victim?

Meanwhile, with all the agro surrounding Phelan on the Street, Tim Metcalfe decides his family isn’t safe in their own home any more and packs a bag for him and Faye.
But when he tells Sally the reason why he’s fleeing the cobbles and going to stay with his dad, will she go with them?
