Corrie SPOILER: Alya makes a decision about the factory

The Underworld boss has a proposition for Carla after watching tragic Aidan's DVD

Alya Nazir approaches Carla Connor next week and hands Aidan’s DVD over to her. The Underworld boss then tells Carla she will sell her the factory back for the value of Aidan’s original share.

The DVD – which showed tragic Aidan while he was in hospital after donating a kidney to Carla – talking about how important his family are.

It made Alya realise that Aidan wouldn’t have wanted the knicker factory out of the hands of the Connors.

Carla is delighted with the offer and accepts, but later confesses to Johnny and Michelle that she’s having trouble getting the funds together to buy Alya out.

Meanwhile Alya makes a decision when Yasmeen declines Geoff Metcalfe’s offer to buy into Speed Dahl after Imran Habeeb decides he has to sell his share in the restaurant to fund his divorce.

Alya decides that Underworld is better off with the Connors and she can use the money from the sale to help out her own family, making sure Speed Dahl stays with them.

It’s Peter Barlow who comes to the rescue when he approaches Alya and tells her that he’s Carla’s investor and will pay Alya the money on Carla’s behalf.

When Carla overhears Johnny talking about the importance of family, she decides to accept Peter’s offer, promising Michelle that she’ll be keeping her dodgy ex-husband at arm’s length.

But Peter clearly has other ideas though when he hands his notice in at Streetcars.

Carla is stunned when he tells her he intends to work in the factory with her full time.

Alya inherited the factory after Aidan’s suicide when he left his share of the business to her in his will.

His will was written before Carla handed him her shares and full control as a thank you to her brother for donating her a kidney.

This meant that Alya was the sole owner of the factory, much to the horror of the Connors.
